The Egenton and Roberts Foundations have been providing for the health, education, and welfare of young women for more that 150 years. Our current mission is to make grants to programs supporting young women under the age of 21 in the Central Maryland area.

The endowments of the Jane Egenton Fund and the Annie Roberts Fund are managed by Egenton Home, Inc., a Maryland corporation. Egenton Home, Inc. is a nonprofit corporation that is tax exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and is a member of The Association of Baltimore Area Grantmakers (ABAG).

Grant submissions are requested by not later than March 1, 2019. Decisions are generally made in early June, and approved grants are anticipated to be funded by June 30, 2019.

Applications for grants should be submitted to: Chris M. Wallace, Grants Committee Chairperson, by email at chris.wallace@egenton.org or by regular mail at P.O. Box 16389, Baltimore, Maryland 21210.

General inquiries regarding the grants programs of the Jane Egenton Fund and the Annie Roberts Fund may be made on the Request Grant page of this website.

Thank you for sharing our concern about the well being of girls in Maryland.
